AEROSMITH Plans To Dig Deep For Summer Setlist

February 20, 2015

According to The Pulse Of Radio, AEROSMITH has announced several summer shows, including July 3 in Stateline, Nevada — and two Canadian stops, July 13 in Kelowna, British Columbia and July 16 in Victoria, British Columbia. The group's fans won't have to wait until summer to see Boston's original bad boys do their thing when the band hits the big screen next week in theaters all over the U.S. "Aerosmith Rocks Donington 2014" will be shown for one night only on February 26, via Fathom Events Classic Music Series.

Guitarist Brad Whitford revealed to The Pulse Of Radio that the band will definitely be digging deep for its 2015 summer setlists. "We’re hoping to extract a few more deep tracks, especially for this summer," he said. "We're kinda eager to pull some stuff out of the hat that we haven't played, or maybe never played — or maybe only played a few times. And we think it's time to do that, and we feel that we need to do it. There's a lot of great songs we don't get out to represent to the crowd and I think that they're ready and we're ready to do that. So, hopefully, we're successful in doing that this year."

AEROSMITH tour dates:

June 27 - Durant, OK - Choctaw Event Center
July 03 - Stateline, NV - Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena At Harveys
July 10 - Salinas, CA - Salinas Sports Complex
July 13 - Kelowna, BC - Prospera Place
July 16 - Victoria, BC - Save On Foods Memorial Centre
July 22 - Cheyenne, WY - Cheyenne Frontier Days at Frontier Park

AEROSMITH's latest effort, 2012's "Music From Another Dimension!", debuted at No. 5 on The Billboard 200 album chart, selling 63,000 copies in its first week of release. The group's previous collection of new songs, 2001's "Just Push Play", entered the chart at No. 2 with sales of 240,000 copies.
